The durable exterior is predominately granite and stucco, with the windows and doors highlighted by granite casing. Many details, such as the custom built copper chimney caps, eave dentils, and mermaid gutter brackets add interest to the design, while clean lines keep it simple and elegant.

A huge skylight over the central atrium brings natural light to the interior spaces of all three levels. Tall windows on the south welcome the view and capture passive solar heat.

Low maintenance was a key factor in designing the landscape. A well balanced usage of hard areas and garden borders and planting areas brings nature to the places people pass through or use for relaxation.

The deck on the main level overlooks the view and the terrace below. The terrace, over 1000 square feet, connects with gentle stairs to the deck.
